Anyone know the true history of Bull Valley?

This would make a good book, if there is anything to the many legends. Lots of myths of satanic groups, murders, Cuba road type myths, etc...

There is a lot of wierd stuff up that way, and I have NEVER met or saw anyone who lived there. Not that I made much effort, I always went there at odd hours of the night.

There's actually a website about haunted places in Bull Valley. I know there's one on Bull Valley road. I wish I still had the link to it. Did you try searching for sites online?

It's in northern Illinois, by Woodstock. If you don't know where that is, I guess you could say it's kind of near Rockford.

I live in Wonder Lake and go to school in Woodstock, so I pretty much drive through Bull Valley every day. I don't know about many of the legends. I actually just started finding out about them recently. The only one I really know about is the Stickney Mansion. It was built by this couple who had seances and stuff. It didn't have any 90 degree corners becuase they would supposedly trap the spirits or something. Anyway, there was actually one corner and the husband died in it. The house is a police station now. It's supposedly haunted, but I don't believe it. I checked it out last night with a few friends. We didn't see anything. We also talked to a cop who's in there every day and has never seen anything weird. People also talk about a door that goes to nowhere. There are actually two. One on the front and one on the back, but the explanation for that is pretty simple: there used to be balconies.

Other than that, there's this one really creepy property right down the road from there where people say that a satanist lived and then the house burned down and now it's haunted. But the cop we talked to said that it was just some crazy old guy who was into weird art and stuff.
