Having passed through ShawneeTown reciently I faintly remembered from my elementry days that the area was supposed to be historic. I do know there was a historic bank there but that's about it.

Does anyone know anything else about this community?

      I believe so. I do know it's at the corner where the Shawnee Hills meet the Ohio river.
